Yesterday, Saturday, 28th of July, 2012.
Awesome People organized Project SLAP 1.0. What is Awesome People? I don't know how to describe it exactly. Its like a group or somewhat liddat. I'm a part of it. We are known as Awesomers. The ones who invited me to join was Nizam, the co-founder of Awesome People. Well I call him bos now haha. Pawah and Harith also joined Project SLAP. What is Project SLAP? Its a charity event where we would help clean the old folks' home. We would also cook for them and entertain them. The lucky old folks' home was not that far. It was near Taman Melawati; Pusat Jagaan dan Rawatan Warga Emas Husna Ar-Rashid. It started around 10 in the morning. We started of with greeting all the elderly in the house then cleaning the lawn. First time aku berkebun weh! Haha! Clueless habis! At first there were about 8 people. Me, Pawah, Harith, Hafiz, Nizam, Falliq and 2 other awesomers. It was tiring but very fun. We finished cleaning the lawn around 11.30 or so. Then came another 5 awesomers. We were just hanging around, bincang nak masak apa and nak beli barang apa. Then finally, Am sampai. Dah lah lambat, buat muka toya masuk rumah tu. Haha! Takdelah, gurau je. After that they went to Carrefour to buy barang barang dapur. Aku dengan harapan nak ikut but bos tak kasi. Bos kejam! Huh. But nevermind. Then me, Pawah and Harith went upstairs to sweep and mop the floor. Kami semangat! Haha! Then borak borak dengan atuk comel tu. Eheh. Bosan gila tunggu diorang shopping bagai nak rak sampai dekat 2 jam. After we cleaned the house, dah takde kerja so lepak. Doing pointless stuff and also chatting with the elderly. Hafiz buat lawak sakai dengan nenek nenek tu. Oh haa Falliq is like so garang that he scares me. No kidding. Everytime dia pandang, rasa macam menusuk kalbu pandangannya itu. Haha! And jangan tak tahu, semalam adalah pertama kali dalam hidup saya seorang lelaki bermain-main dengan rambut saya. Pengalaman tuuuuuu. Hahahaha! Ya Allah, y u so sakai Ai? Then petang tu Falliq, Am, Hafiz, Pawah and me went to bazaar Taman Melawati. Oooooo terliur tengok semua benda! *drool* But Am spoil, exposing something about me that shouldn't be exposed. Then aku bajet bajet marah sampai dia gelabah pujuk aku. Lol me. Padahal aku tak kisah pun haha. After that its time for berbuka. We served the elderly first. Until they finished eating, we awesomers cannot start eating. I had a headache at that time so I practically didnt have the mood whatsoever. Lepas semua dah habis makan, kitorang pun berbuka. Nandos weh! Gila best! Thank youuuuu Awesome People! Haha. Then when its time for dessert, apalague, the Red Velvet cake that me and Pawah baked lah. Hehe sedap! Rasanya lah. Sedap kan? Hmmm. Then it's time that we went home. Took a bunch of photos before we go.
This was an amazing experience for me. Truly unforgettable! I got to know something nasty about Harith's past, got to know the folks there, semakin rapat dengan bos, Am, Hafiz, Falliq and all. Those fellow awesomers are like family to me. Thank you Awesome People! Project SLAP ftw! Love you guys! :-* xx
